Wine in Mexico Tours Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Wine in Mexico Tours, we understand that travel plans can change. Our goal is to provide flexibility while protecting the availability of our guides, drivers, vehicles, and reservations made on behalf of our guests.

Standard Reservations

Reservations booked at regular pricing are eligible for a full refund when canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour or service.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable.

Discounted Reservations

Reservations purchased using a promotional rate, coupon, special offer, seasonal promotion, advance purchase discount, or any discounted pricing are non-refundable.

However, the amount paid may be converted into a credit that can be applied toward a future Wine in Mexico Tours service within 12 months of the original tour date, subject to availability and current pricing.

Deposits

Some tours and transportation services require a deposit to secure the reservation.

For standard-price reservations:

  • Deposits are fully refundable if canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

For discounted reservations:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Deposits may be applied as credit toward a future reservation within 12 months.

Rescheduling

We understand that unexpected situations arise.

Standard reservations may be rescheduled without penalty when requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.

Discounted reservations may be rescheduled once, subject to availability, within 12 months of the original booking date.

No-Shows

Guests who fail to arrive at the designated pickup location, fail to cross the border at the agreed meeting time, are unavailable for pickup, or otherwise do not participate in the reserved service without prior notice will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

Winery, Restaurant, and Third-Party Reservations

Many tours include reservations at wineries, restaurants, tasting rooms, transportation providers, or other third-party businesses.

If a third-party supplier imposes cancellation fees, minimum consumption requirements, prepaid tasting fees, or non-refundable charges, those amounts may be deducted from any applicable refund.

Wine in Mexico Tours is not responsible for cancellation policies imposed by third-party businesses.

Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances

Tours operate rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe.

If Wine in Mexico Tours cancels a service due to severe weather, road closures, vehicle issues, government restrictions, natural disasters, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, guests will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • Credit toward a future service.

Late Arrivals

Late arrivals may result in shortened tours, missed reservations, or modified itineraries. Refunds will not be provided for portions of the experience missed due to guest delays.

Border Crossing Delays

For guests entering Mexico from the United States, border wait times are outside the control of Wine in Mexico Tours. Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by immigration, customs inspections, border congestion, documentation issues, or entry refusals.

Third-Party Booking Platforms

Reservations made through third-party platforms including Viator, Airbnb Experiences, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide, Expedia, Bokun partners, or travel agencies may be subject to the cancellation and refund policies of those platforms.

When there is a conflict between this policy and a third-party platform's policy, the platform's policy will govern the transaction.

  • Last-minute cancellations.

  • Border crossing issues.

  • Winery reservation fees.

  • Restaurant no-show charges (such as Fauna, Animalón, etc.).

  • Discount abuse.

  • Third-party platform disputes.

It also matches the policies you've been using with your 24-hour refund window, discounted-booking credits, and 12-month rescheduling options.
